Well 2020 was a very challenging year, I’m sure you’ll agree. But one real positive is that Norbury Hall Park has had one of the best years many of us can remember. The Covid-19 pandemic, with its successive lockdowns and increased home working, has meant the park has been much busier than usual.

It’s been wonderful to see people, particularly young families, out discovering all the park has to offer. Climbing the Squirrel Park’s famous Cedar tree, scampering over the fallen logs and scooting along the winding paths.

For the Friends of Norbury Hall Park, 2020 meant we couldn’t progress many of our plans for the park as far as we would have liked. But, we’ve been busy planning over the winter. This year we will be unveiling our exciting vision for Norbury Hall Park and we are keen to get your thoughts.

As well as improving the park and keeping it in tip top condition, our aim is to grow the number of people using the park. It’s a wonderful community space and it deserves to be enjoyed by many more people.

So, look out for news coming in the spring. Follow us on Twitter and Facebook to stay up-to-date. We’re always keen for more people to get involved with the work of the Friends of Norbury Hall Park.
